Kamay ni Hesus, Lucban Quezon

Last Sunday we attended mass in Lucban, Quezon. Then after we visited Kamay ni Hesus (Hand of Jesus) Healing Center. It is a Spiritual Side Trip located in Lucban, Quezon Province. The Holy place is situated at the slopes of Mt. Banahaw. It was built around 2002 by the Kamay ni Hesus Ministry Foundation, Inc. Established by well-known faith healer Rev. Fr. Joseph “Joey” Faller and Javierto-Brizuela family.

It has a total of 292 steps before you finally reach the top where huge statue of Jesus Christ positioned. As you go up, you go through different statues of the 14 Stations of the Cross.  (Click Images for Larger View).

Me and Kyla in Kamay ni Hesus

Lucban, Quezon has cool weather and atmosphere so it’s not really hard to finish 292 steps. No time to rush because you can stop for awhile and state your prayers in every stations of the cross. I don’t  go up because it was drizzling that time but I did it  long time ago.

The main entrance in Kamay ni Hesus is the Garden of Eden. Before you go up you can visit the Garden of Eden first. I think last 2009 this Garden of Eden was still in the process of building. Only after almost two years I got a chance to visit again the place and amazed again.

A truly beautiful place wherein you can see the creation of Adam and Eve, Noah’s Ark that is extremely beautiful and a center for retreat. I don’t have the chance to enter the place because there is on going retreat. But it is fully furnished air conditioned rooms for those who are attending retreats. So if you are planning to have retreats, meditations, recollections, seminars and even workshops you can use this place for some quiet moment.

Other view is animal playground that child will surely enjoy. Statue of Abraham and Moses are also present. I don’t take other photos because as I said its drizzling that time. So, we just took photos on some part of Garden of Eden.

At the side before you go up in Kamay ni Hesus, you can light up candles according to your intents. For example green candle for personal intents, pink for special intents, purple for penance, white for thanksgiving and blue for departed ones.

Kamay ni Hesus is really a good place to visit not only for religious people but its open to all. And now that Holy week is fast approaching if you want to experience calm and peaceful place for me Kamay ni Hesus is a good choice. Hope you can visit it and other part of Quezon Province.

My share for Mellow Yellow Monday, Blue Monday, Ruby Tuesday 2.

What a beautiful place both for eye and soul.
It must have been relaxing just to walk about in those surroundings. We also have retreat centers, but far simpler. I might just go there once. It sounds inviting.
